Here's part 1 of our in-depth look at the new Samsung bada powered Wave smartphone. The bada OS shows strong ties to Samsung's TouchWiz UI, but there's plenty of new things as well. On top of that, the Wave's hardware is pretty impressive: 1GHz processor, Super AMOLED display, and HD 720p video recording.

Sony Ericsson now shipping QWERTY X10 mini and Vivaz pro smartphones

Sony Ericsson has informed the masses that it is now offering its X10 mini and Vivaz pro in select markets worldwide. Both devices offer full slide-out QWERTY keyboards, WiFi, 3.5mm headphone jacks, and a 5 megapixel camera. Korea's KT to offer Google Nexus One in June

Apple sells more than 2 million iPad tablets in first 60 days

Today Apple announced that it has sold more than 2 million iPads in the product's first 60 days of availability. The large, tablet-shaped device has just been made available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK within the past week. Apple claims that over 5,000 apps have been created specifically for the iPad so far.

DOJ probe into Apple increasing in scope, says NY Post
