VoIP application Fring has introduced one-way video calling for iPhone and iPod touch devices. The app's usefulness is somewhat limited by the lack of front-facing cameras on the devices and that they have to be connected to a Wi-Fi network for use.

AT&T network ranks last in Consumer Reports survey, Verizon ranks best

In a survey of wireless customers, Consumer Reports says that AT&T's network ranked lowest in 19 of 26 U.S. cities while Verizon Wireless ranked highest.
