Moto X Force Coming to India

The beefy Moto X Force, with all its shatterproof screen rugged goodness, is making its debut in India, three months after its launch in other global regions. The Motorola device is the latest push from parent company Lenovo to get more market share in India, Lenovo is currently the fifth largest manufacturer in the country.

BlackBerry Priv Comes to India

BlackBerry's current flagship, the Android running Priv, is now making its debut in India, with BlackBerry in New Delhi to launch the device in the country. The handset will not come cheaply on the Sub-continent though, costing a massive Rs. 62,900 ($927).

Samsung Galaxy S6 Flagships Receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow Now

Samsung has finally gotten around to rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow for its Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. It's just as well really as the current flagships are about to be replaced by the Galaxy S7 range at the end of February at MWC. So, at least many Galaxy S6 owners will have Marshmallow by then.

Samsung Slips Out of Top Five Brands in China

Samsung's market lead has declined in recent years, the company sells fewer devices and has seen profits for its smartphone division take a hit as a result. Of course, Sammy still thrives as the number one smartphone brand in the world, but the company is not tasting the sheer dominance it once did. It seems that one market particularly has caused Samsung's problems, China.
