Sony Xperia X Up Close: A Winning Mid-Range Handset Posted: 23 Feb 2016 04:58 PM PST We were not expecting much from Sony at the Mobile World Conference, and while the company didn't launch a new flagship, it did arrive with three rather enticing products. The Xperia X is among them, and it is looking like continuing Sony's recent quality output in the mid-range market. Nokia Biding Time for Ideal Return to Smartphone Market Posted: 23 Feb 2016 03:08 PM PST Nokia has been out of the smartphone game for over two years, since it sold off its Lumia devices and services division to Microsoft. As part of the deal the Finnish giant could not make a rival device until this year, but with that accord coming to an end Nokia is ready to make handsets again. Alcatel Raises Curtain on POP 4, POP 4+, POP 4S Posted: 23 Feb 2016 02:58 PM PST Alcatel is working closely with Microsoft and Windows 10 these days, but the company has not turned its back on the Android platform though. Indeed, at the Mobile World Conference in Barcelona there are three new Alcatel devices running the Android software, the POP 4, POP 4+, and POP 4S. Lenovo Has Three New Tablets to Check Out Posted: 23 Feb 2016 02:39 PM PST Lenovo rolled out a couple of new smartphones at MWC, but the Chinese company also has a few tablets to show up at the trade show in Barcelona.
