HTC One M9 getting Android Marshmallow this Month

We know that HTC's Android 6.0 Marshmallow rollout is kicking off this month, with some variants of the One M8 already receiving the software, while the One A9 ships with the upgrade. So, what about the One M9, the handset that is really the company's current flagship? Well, the device is going to be getting Marshmallow sometime this month.

Reports today suggest that Samsung has begun its Android 6.0 Marshmallow update program, with the Hungary version of the Galaxy Note 4 getting the bump.

Google Issuing Update to Fix Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X Screen Problems

As with many new smartphones, the Huawei Nexus 6P and LG Nexus 5X arrived with a few teething problems. Namely, the two (otherwise fantastic) handsets have suffered issues with washed out screens, according to some users. Considering that the smartphones are made by two different companies, this problem has been attributed to Google's software.

Microsoft Lunches Lumia 550

Microsoft raised the curtain on the Lumia 550 back in October, the first budget smartphone to run the Windows 10 Mobile platform. The company said at the time that it would launch the handset on December 8th, but a bit earlier than planned (the 7th) Microsoft has launched the Lumia 550 in Europe.
