Windows Phone Topples Apple and iOS in Brazil

Microsoft does not have a whole lot of wins with Windows Phone 8. The platform sits a distant third in the market and sales are hardly anything to get excited about and in many cases have stalled. However, if you look into emerging markets Windows Phone is and always has done quite well, ever since Nokia's affordable Lumia's paved a way for the platform in fact.

Meizu Schedules MX5 Pro Event for Sept 23

Meizu has scheduled a press event for September 23rd and the Chinese company will use that show to raise the curtain on its newest smartphone flagship. The event is marked with the slogan, MEIZU GO PRO, which we doubt means a partnership with Go Pro but is more likely to mean the company is readying its MX5 Pro smartphone for a big unveiling.

Motorola Moto X Force will be DROID Turbo 2 in USA

When we first heard about the Moto Bounce a few months ago we called it as the next Motorola/Verizon DROID device. Yeah we are pretty much patting ourselves on the back here as the device that has since been known as the Moto X Force is reportedly going to be announced as the new Verizon DROID Turbo 2 in the next few months.

Yes, the iPad Mini 4 was Announced Yesterday too

If you blinked during Apple's iPhone/iPad/Apple TV announcement yesterday you would have likely missed the launch of a new iPad Min... the iPad Mini 4. Wait, you may be thinking that there was not iPad Mini 4 announcement at all, but trust us there is a new model of Apple's small slate and it was briefly shown in the new iPad price list.
