AT&T Confirms Blackberry Passport and Classic

AT&T revealed in January that it would be carrying the Blackberry Passport and the newly launched Blackberry Classic, with the former getting an exclusive redesign for the second largest carrier in the US. Ma Bell has now announced when those devices will be available to purchase, with both available starting from this coming Friday, February 20.

LG Watch Urbane Ready for MWC

LG's original G Watch smartwatch was a pretty basic affair and was designed to show off what Google's Android Wear platform could do. However, with the G Watch R, the Korean company pointed to a direction of trying to marry smartwatch tech with causal timepiece design, even if it did not quite pull it off. However, LG has announced the Watch Urbane luxury smartwatch, arguably the device that the G Watch R should have been.

HERE Maps Leaves Beta on Android

Nokia's fantastic HERE Maps is a true rival to Google Maps and it of course comes with offline navigation. However, it has only been making tentative steps into the Android space in beta form... until now that is. A new major update for the Android version of the apps takes it from the beta stage and it is now a full release app.

HTC Desire 626 Bound for US with Sprint

HTC's Desire 626 was announced in Taiwan last week as a competitor to the slew of entry level devices released by big brands over the last year. It comes with familiar specs for this level of the market, but also packs HTC's pleasing design language. One piece of the puzzle was left unsolved when the 626 launched, if it would be available beyond HTC's Taiwan homeland.
