Lenovo Launches A7000 Smartphone at MWC

Lenovo has had its say at the Mobile World Conference today as the Chinese company rolled out a couple of new products. Probably the most interesting of those is the Lenovo Vibe Shot, a handset that is the latest to blur the lines between smartphone and point and shoot camera. Taking one look at the Vibe Shot should tell you all you need to know, it is as much camera as smartphone, certainly in terms of aesthetic.

Sony Unveils Xperia M4 Aqua

Acer kicked off the Mobile World Conference here in Barcelona by unveiling a new Windows Phone, but as is familiar with Microsoft's platform, the device will now blow you away. The Acer Liquid M220 is yet another handset that will fall into the seemingly endless stream of mid-range and entry level Windows Phone. Any hopes that platform would get a flagship beyond the HTC One M8 should be shelved for some time (probably until Windows 10 lands).

Huawei Watch is a Stunning Android Wear Device

Huawei has raised the curtain on its first smartwatch here at the Mobile World Conference in Barcelona, and its looks good. It looks fantastic in fact; long gone are the days when the Motorola Moto X was the only desirable smartwatch, there are now a number of contenders. The imaginatively named Huawei Watch is a round faced wearable that looks like, well a watch, and it is definitely a looker.

HTC has launched the One M9, the company's newest flagship smartphone. The Taiwanese company announced the handset at the Mobile World Conference here in Barcelona, but unfortunately it is not good news for those clamouring after something new and fresh. New is a fair description of the One M9 actually, but fresh most definitely is not as this is nothing more than an updated One M8, for all the good and bad that brings.

HTC Launched Grip Wearable

HTC postponed its smartwatch plans last year, and it seems the company is continuing to wait it out in launching a true smart wearable. Instead, the Taiwanese brand used its MWC event to announce its first wearable, a fitness tracker. HTC has been rumored for a couple of months to be launching a wearable at the expo in Barcelona and the company's recent deal with Under Armour suggested a fitness tracker would be the product launched.

The consumer space is generally turning away from Samsung at the moment, but the company may have just righted all the wrongs with its newly launched Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. The Korean giant announced the two handsets at the MWC event in Barcelona and the good news is both look to be stunning additions to the smartphone world. Samsung back to its best and seemingly finally listening to customer's needs.
