Sprint, SoftBank, and Clearwire get the go-ahead from FCC for both acquisitions

The FCC today announced that it has voted in favor of SoftBank purchasing a controlling interest in Sprint, and the U.S. regulator also approved Sprint's purchase of Clearwire. The three companies are now under the same control.

AT&T Locker cloud storage app launches for Windows Phone 8

AT&T Locker - the cloud storage app previously available on Android, iOS, and the web - is now available for Windows Phone 8 users who wish to get free storage of their photos, videos, documents, and other files backed-up online. AT&T Locker is a free service that delivers 5GB of storage to AT&T customers, but additional space can be purchased for a monthly fee. AT&T Locker also automatically backs-up photos and videos that can then be viewed online or on a smartphone. An active AT&T account is necessary to use the AT&T Locker.
