Motorola DROID RAZR M now available in platinum at Best Buy

Motorola today announced the launch of a new color for the Motorola DROID RAZR M, available exclusively at Best Buy. Previously available in black or white, the new "Platinum" color puts the DROID RAZR M in a silver/gray tone with light blue accents on the hardware buttons. The phone is available now at Best Buy stores for $49.99 when purchased with a two-year agreement for Verizon Wireless, or $599.99 when purchased without activation.

Samsung Galaxy Note II update coming to Canadians on Wednesday

An update is coming soon to the Samsung Galaxy Note II that will add the Multi Window feature to devices used in Canada. Multi Window enables Samsung smartphones to show two apps on-screen at the same time, allowing for things like simultaneous browsing and note-taking. The Samsung Canada Twitter account has confirmed that the Android 4.1.2 update will begin rolling out to Canadian devices on Wednesday, though it has not provided details for specific carrier release schedules.
