LG G4 Spotted for Benchmark Packing Snapdragon 808

Most of LG's rivals have already launched their 2015 flagship smartphones (Sony excluded), but the Korean company is playing a patient game before launching the G4. Like last year, LG knows where its opponents in the market are and what they offer, the company will be hoping to strike gold again like it did with the G3. The LG G4 is expected in April and its launch seems a lot more probable now that it is showing up for benchmarks.

HTC Announces One E9+ for Asia, More Flagship than One M9?

A month after announcing its latest flagship, and even before it has hit stores, HTC has launched a superior smartphone. Sure, the One M9 landed last month at MWC and was much of the same, which meant a very stellar smartphone indeed, if a little disappointing for some. The Taiwanese company has now unveiled the One E9+, a handset that matches the One M9 in hardware and even betters it in some cases.

Apple Working on iPhone 6c 4-inch Smartphone

There have been growing rumors over the last week that Apple will launch three iPhone mobiles this year, an iPhone 7 (possibly iPhone 6s), iPhone 7 Plus, and a new small 4-inch handset. Unlike most iPhone rumors, this one seems a little more credible considering the iPhone 4c is now a couple of years old and is need of a refresh.

ZenFone 3 to Carry Fingerprint Sensor

The high end variant of the ZenFone 2 comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD screen and 4GB of RAM, it is a flagship botherer and like the OnePlus One it is very affordable as well. However, while the device is still young ASUS is already working up on a follow up that will up the spec ante even more and make the ZenFone even more compelling.

Xiaomi $80 Smartphone Coming April 8th

China Mobile accidently leaked (an executive posted an image) of the rumored new low cost smartphone coming from Xiaomi. The handset is supposedly running on a Leadcore CPU and will cost the bargain price of $80 ISD. The device has passed through TENAA, the Chinese version of the FCC, and is certified for sale.

BlackBerry Makes Profit, Revenue Declines

It was widely predicted by analysts that BlackBerry would record a dire fourth quarter. However, just like during the third period, the Canadian company confounded those predictions and shocked Wall Street with a profit of $28 million for its Q4 ending February 28th.

2GB ASUS ZenFone 2 Available through Amazon in U.S.

ASUS announced the ZenFone 2 way back in January during the CES event in Las Vegas; the handset comes in multiple variants and at different price points. While the 1080p 4GB of RAM variant grabbed the headlines, the lower 720p 2GB of RAM variant is also very good, and is very affordable. That modest ZenFone 2 is now available in the United States through Amazon, although there is a caveat.

T-Mobile Issuing Samsung Galaxy S6 with OTA Update Out of Box

T-Mobile is one of the four major US carriers that will sell the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, the "Uncarrier" will start offering the device from April 10th. When you land your brand new Samsung flagship that day, you won't be able to fire it up straight away as you will have to pull an over the air update first.
